Being decisive through renewed focus and direction

I’m lost.
It feels like it’s been a crazy, manic few weeks.
I’ve been burning the energy stored up from the summer.
Starting to feel tired.
Not yet exhausted.
Not yet.
I don’t want to look ahead.
So much to do.
And yet Christmas is just on the edge of my vision.
------
I have to step back.
To take stock of where I am.
I’m making decisions on the fly, on gut instinct, not thinking them through.
Or I’m ignoring them, procrastinating, not wanting to deal with what I'm fearful of.
Time to renew my focus and direction.
------
What is it I want to achieve?
What will this mean for others?
What can I do to help me achieve this?
What is stopping me?
What can I do to overcome those barriers?
What is it I’m going to do next?
So do it. Now…
------
It’s late and I’m not sure if I’ve been thinking straight, but a little relief has started to spread through me.
Time to use my new sense of direction to make some decisions I’ve been putting off…
