What's your Mission and Vision?

Here's something that may help

Mission and Vision.

I've heard the words, I've read a few, but does itreally make a differencehaving a Mission and Vision? They're easy enough to ignore, put off for another time or not to bother with and, let's face it, someone else can deal with it...

So when a conversation I had with someone about how their personal values fitted with their organisations' values, it prompted me to look again at what Mission and Vision statements are all about. What I realised was that the more meaningful these are to each person, the more value they provide. And it doesn't just have to be the Mission and Vision for an organisation, a department, a team, an individual could also gain from having a clear and common understanding.

Here are some thoughts on why writing a mission and vision might help you, how you could approach it, what might be stopping you or getting in the way and what you might gain from going it.

Let me know how you get on.

This is the last in my current series of sketchnotes. What do you think?

And that would you change in the sketchnote above?
